The campground is wooded and there is a nice trail to the river. AT&T service was good, but T-Mobile was spotty. This campground is set in a wooded park near the Sacramento River, offering RV hookup sites with water and electric (50 amp) for $25. Those with the US senior citizens or disabled National Parks passes get half off. There are a lot of walking paths and bike trails that run through the park, and it is close to historic Red Bluff, providing great antenna TV signals. AT&T service is good, but T-Mobile is spotty. There are no showers or flush toilets due to the virus, but there is a porta-potty. The campground is mostly non-electric, with widely spaced sites and lots of green grass in the day use area. There is a security gate that does not work, and car traffic comes through all hours of the night. There are a few homeless people camping nearby or sleeping in cars at the boat launch, so visitors should be aware and take precautions.
