What others are saying about this campground
Redcrest Resort is a private campground located in the giant trees of Humboldt State Park. With RV sites offering full hookups, cabins, and a grassy area for tent campers, this campground is perfect for a family getaway. The site has many large redwood trees providing shade and ambiance, and amenities like a hot tub spa, group fire pit with free firewood, ping pong table, volleyball court, and a gift shop. The bathrooms are old and not very clean, and the sites are not level, but the mixed dirt/gravel surface is great for exploring the area. Security is a bit over the top, with combination locks on the bathrooms and a padlocked gate, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The price is a bit high, but the location is worth it.
