Jones Valley Inlet Shoreline Campground is a first-come, first-serve campground located in Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The campground is open for camping from March 1 to May 31, and no camping is allowed from June 1 to February 29. The campground offers tent camping and camping trailer sites, portable restrooms, and trash receptacles during the operating season. A valid California campfire permit is required for the use of campfires, charcoal fires, portable stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel during fire season. During fire restrictions, wood or charcoal fires must be at least 50 feet from any vegetation and within 10 feet of the water's edge. The campground is operated by Shasta Recreation Company, and the closest towns are Jones Valley, Shasta Lake City, and Redding.
