Dogwood Campground is a peaceful and well-maintained campground located in the San Bernardino National Forest. It is situated among pines and cedars and offers partial-to-plenty of shade. The campground was completely remodeled in 2004 and features new restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and firepits. Sites are a good size and clean, and each has a large picnic table and a fire ring. There is no water or sewer hookup, but there is a free dump station. Campfires are allowed in firepits and the camp host sells firewood on-site. Activities at the campground include interpretive programs on Friday and Saturday nights and two hiking trails. Nearby, you can find Lake Gregory with boating, fishing and a water slide park, and Lake Arrowhead village is only 5 minutes away with fine dining, quaint shops, and a mountain resort atmosphere. The drive to the campground is 16 miles up a switchback road, so be sure to match your vehicle/rig to your site and be prepared to do some leveling. The campground is also close to the highway, so there is some noise. The campground staff is friendly and helpful, and the nightly rate reflects a Golden Access pass discount.

Dogwood Family Campground is a family-friendly campground located in the San Bernardino National Forest, just 20 miles northeast of San Bernardino, CA. The campground offers 87 reservable sites with amenities such as camp host, dump station, RV hookups, fire rings, firewood sales, interpretive trails, interpretive programs, picnic tables, showers, and restrooms. The campground is accessible and is located just 15 minutes away from Lake Gregory, which offers boating, fishing, and a water slide park. Lake Arrowhead Village, with its fine dining and quaint shops, is only 5 minutes away. The campground also offers interpretive programs on Friday and Saturday nights, and hiking trails.
