The park is well maintained, clean and quiet. The road in is narrow and bumpy, but the scenery is worth it. The owners, John and Stephanie, are friendly and helpful. They have put a lot of time and effort into making this park a great place to stay. The sites are level and large, with concrete pavers. The park is a great destination for windsurfers and kitesurfers, as the wind is always blowing. There are no laundry facilities on site, but the nearest laundromat is 10 miles away. The park is a great place to stay for a night, a week, or longer. Be aware that the bridge to Antioch is a $5 toll each way. Rio Viento is a great place to stay for a night, a week, or longer. Located in the San Joaquin Delta, halfway between Antioch and Rio Vista, this park is a great option for larger RVs. After the two-mile drive in on a narrow levee road, youre greeted with palm trees and wide sites, entirely done in concrete pavers. The park is very well kept and a safe place to stay, with a great view of Mt. Diablo. Rio Viento is a waterfront RV park located on Sherman Island adjacent to the Sacramento River, where the Delta meets the Bay. Set in a rural environment, surrounded by open space, Rio Viento has spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Diablo and the Montezuma Hills by day, and the stars and city lights at night. The park offers full hookups at every site with 50/30/20 amp power, and most sites are 35 feet wide by 50 feet deep, with huge 22 foot wide by 45 foot deep parking pads. All the roads and parking pads are constructed with concrete pavers, each one hand placed. Rio Viento is a great place for windsurfing, boating, kayaking, and fishing. Children and pets are welcome, and there is a community center for guests to gather. Launch your boat or PWC at the Sacramento County Park just down the road from Rio Viento.
