GenieSummary

This campground is an older facility located in a beautiful area with lots of shade. It has limited accommodations for larger RVs and the roads are very narrow and dusty. The sites are sometimes hard to get in and out of, but the actual beauty of the place makes up for it. The access to the site is bad and the cable does not work, making it difficult to identify where the sewer hook-up is. The rest rooms and showers are barely warm and have a patina of crud everywhere you look. There are a lot of full time folks with rigs covered with tarps and garbage everywhere. The dump station had the lid open and 6 of rain water standing in the containment basin. The power grid is inadequate to support the load in the summer heat, but visitors are allowed to run their generators for a few hours until after dark. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the prices are considered exorbitant for the area and for what you get. There is no shade and the water is brown from a well, but it is safe to drink. This is not a great choice for large RVs, but it is a pleasant experience with modern restrooms and hookups that allow air in during the day and heat at night.
