Parker Sunday Campground is a peaceful and tranquil spot located on the California side of the Colorado River, just 5 miles from Parker, AZ. It is a gated campground with large, grassy sites that offer plenty of room for lawn chairs and tables. The sites are equipped with 50 amp service, WIFI, and a water hook up, although the water is not drinkable. The campground has recently undergone improvements, with gravel parking pads, freshly painted buildings and fences, and enclosed laundries. There is also a boat ramp for access to the river. The managers are friendly and hardworking, and the gift basket that awaits guests is a nice touch. However, the roads are dusty and the water hook up is not always easily accessible.
