Santa Cruz Ranch RV Park is a small, family owned campground located a few miles out of Santa Cruz, California. It is nestled in a wooded area on the side of a mountain, and is surrounded by redwood trees and a creek. The park used to be a church camp and still has a chapel and does weddings. It has extensive, though poorly maintained, hiking trails that connect with a large public park adjacent. There is no wifi, no TV, no cell coverage, and no laundry. Sites 7-10 are the easiest access and back up to a creek. The road within the park is rough (broken up pavement and/or gravel) and it is on a steep hill. The price is a bit high for the lack of amenities, but it is a great location to make day trips to places like Monterey, Gilroy, and San Francisco. The park is full of charm and is a great place to rest and read, and enjoy the great camp atmosphere.
