What others are saying about this campground
Potwisha Campground is a beautiful and serene campground located in the foothills of Sequoia National Park. With lush oak trees, California buckeyes, manzanitas and other lovely trees and shrubs, the campground provides a peaceful atmosphere for camping. The campground is equipped with flush toilets, running water, and bear storage boxes, though there are no showers. The roads are winding and narrow, so it is not suitable for large rigs, but is great for smaller rigs or tent camping. There are two dump and fill stations across the highway from the campground, as well as a river nearby for swimming. There is an amphitheater with ranger programs during peak season, and a few miles away is a grocery store. The campground is best in the Spring and Fall, and the nightly rate reflects the Interagency Senior Pass discount.
