Un-level sites, and branches fall from the pine trees at night.. One caution: the entrance comes up VERY quickly a little less than two miles from Shingletown, so take it slow.. We had a Starlink that we put out in the meadow (stayed in spot 14 that had a 50 amp). This campground is located in a beautiful forest just outside of Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is a small, rustic campground with huge trees that provide shade and high enough in elevation to be cool at night. The roads are not paved and the sites are gravel and of varying size and shape. There is a lovely creek side area where you can picnic or take your dog for a dip. The campground also offers cabins, cottages, Tiny Houses, and an authentic native indian teepee. The sites are unlevel and mostly dirt, so it can be difficult to get a large RV into the space. Cell reception and WiFi are minimal, and the restroom is rough and dirty. There is also a trailer park with older mobile homes for extended family members. The entrance is close to Shingletown, so take it slow when approaching.
