What others are saying about this campground
The campground has electric and sewer hookups, a dump station, flush toilets, and water. It is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the Reagan Library, the Santa Susana Pass, and the many hiking trails in the area. Oak Park is a great campground located on the west end of Simi Valley, close to Moorpark. It is a county park with 16 sites in the lower campground and 13 group sites up above. The lower campground has electric and sewer hookups, a dump station, flush toilets, and water. It is shaded by giant oak trees and has a basketball court, horseshoe pit, and hiking trails. The upper campground can accommodate bigger rigs and has distant sound of traffic on the 118 fwy. The campground is close to the Ronald Reagan Library, Santa Susana Pass, and many hiking trails in the area. Unfortunately, the lower campground is right next to the train tracks that run constantly starting at 5 AM. There is a $25 fee to use the dump station in addition to the $30 a day fee for the camp site.
