From The Campground

Hampshire Rocks Campground is located in Tahoe National Forest and offers easy access from I-80 surrounded by mixed conifers, aspen, and dogwood. The campground is available for both RV and tent camping (however, there are NO RV hookups or amenities, size restrictions on RV may apply). Enjoy swimming and fishing on the South Yuba River. The campground has 31 sites, with 7 sites currently closed due to hazard trees. Amenities include accessible sites, tent camping, camping trailer, picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, and parking. The campground is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, with operation subject to change depending on weather conditions. Reservations can be made online or by phone. The campground is heavily used and located near the town of Soda Springs. Hiking trails to high elevation lakes are nearby. Reviews are not available.
