What others are saying about this campground
Fish Creek Campground is a great spot for a secluded camping experience. Located in the Golden Trout Wilderness, the campground is situated on a meadow with easy creek access. The sites are generously spaced and offer a great sense of privacy. The creek is clear and cold, perfect for fishing trout, and the meadow is beautiful. There are no hookups or potable water, but there are water taps available. There are also no trash bins, so you must pack out your trash. The campground is usually not too crowded, and the nearby Trial of 100 Giants offers some amazing big sequoias. There is also a single track trail that starts from the overflow area and can be accessed from the main campground with a street legal bike and a license. There is a general store and Grumpy Bears retreat nearby with food, drinks, and wifi. The campground is a great spot for car or tent camping, but may not be suitable for larger trailers.
