What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located right on the ship channel out of Stockton, offering a unique view of ocean-going ships going by 100 feet from your RV. The campsites are small and tight, with no actual lines delineating the camping spots - cones are used. There are no picnic tables, fire rings or grills, but picnic tables are available, albeit not conveniently accessible. The beach area is nice, but can be noisy due to jet skis. The river is right next to the campground, but it is brown. The cost is 25$ a night, making it a great weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the septic has been known to back up and there is a stench, and no one is cleaning the restrooms or bathrooms. The place is up for sale, so it seems no one cares.
