Running Deer Campground is located in Plumas National Forest and offers 40 campsites, including six prime lakeside sites. The campground amenities include seasonal host, water, flush toilets, and trash service along with paved roads. Campsite amenities include picnic tables, fire ring, and paved parking pad. Fishing, day hiking, nature viewing, and water recreation are some of the local attractions. The campground is open during the summer season and reservations can be made online or by phone.
