This campground is an excellent choice for RVers looking for a peaceful and well-maintained spot to stay. The park is located 25 miles north of Susanville in the Spaulding area on the west side of the lake, and features 50+ RV sites, a few cabins, full hookups, laundry, restrooms with showers, recycling bins, dump station, and gasoline. The interior roads are nicely paved and the sites are level, making it easy to extend your slide. Verizon signal is good, so you can use your phones and Jetpack. The camp store has soft serve ice cream, and there is an American Legion close by that hosts dinners for $10.00 per person (one beer included). The price reflects the 14 days including the PassPort America Discount. The only downside is the mosquitos, which are normal near water at this time of the year. But you can watch an eagle feed her babies every night!
