From The Campground

William Kent Campground is a National Forest campground operated by private concessionaire, California Land Management. It is located on the West Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe and offers 84 reservable campsites surrounded by big pine and fir trees. A day use area is located across the street from the campground for lake access activities. The campground offers drinking water, flush restrooms, and campfires are allowed. However, there are no showers and no pets are allowed on beaches. The pet rules are strictly enforced and a maximum of 2 pets per site is allowed. The campground is close to Tahoe City, California.
