From The Campground

Ed Z'berg - Sugar Pine Point State Park is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe and contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on the lake. The park has nearly two miles of lake frontage and dense forests of pine, fir, aspen, and cedar. The park also features the historic Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, a summer home built in 1903 in a grove of pine and cedar. Visitors can enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, and cross-country skiing in the park. The park also has a Nature Center with exhibits on biology, lake ecology, wildflowers, trees, and more. Dogs are welcome on-leash in the historic areas and paved bike trails.
