Horse Creek Campground is a great Corp of Engineer Campground located just minutes from Sequoia National Park. With big, well spaced sites and two well located bathrooms with good showers at no additional cost, this campground is a great spot for a camping trip. During the summer months, the Rangers put on a Campfire program every Saturday evening. When the lake is full, campers can boat in for camping. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, and the sites are clean and well managed. The scenery is spectacular, with views of the lake and mountains, and nights full of stars. The sites are generally not level, and during peak season the bathrooms can be busy. There is a dump station and fresh water available, as well as excellent security with Rangers patrolling often.
