GenieSummary
Emerald Forest Cabins & RV in Trinidad, CA is a small, clean campground nestled among big redwoods, just a couple of miles from the beach. The bathhouses are pristinely clean with constant hot water and water pressure. Sites have big steel fire rings and the store sells plenty of firewood. There are dog areas, a small store, and its very forested. The WiFi is fast and the campground has cable TV. However, the TV only offers four useless channels. The big rig sites are right up against the highway and you can hear the traffic, but it becomes quiet at night and didnt bother some guests. Although close to the 101, it still feels nicely secluded. The roads leading to the campground are relatively easy to drive on, with ups and downs but nothing scary for big rigs. Some guests were impressed with the campground and their site, while others were impressed with the quality of the campground overall. Although there isnt much around the campground, its conveniently located near McKinleyville with an Ace Hardware and an auto parts store.
From The Campground
Emerald Forest Cabins & RV Park is a Shamballa of sorts, nestled in the heart of the redwoods, where nature-dreams come true. The park offers camping under a canopy of redwoods enveloped by rich vegetation and a sparkling creek winding around your campsite. The beautifully-furnished cabins offer a glamping experience with plenty of pleasant creature-comforts throughout. The park is located near beaches and the friendliest community on earth.
