From The Campground

Prosser Family Campground is a beautiful campground located on the west shore above Prosser Reservoir, 10 minutes north of Truckee, California. The campground offers 29 single-family campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Firewood is available at the campground at the host site. The surrounding area offers many hiking, biking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicle trails. Prosser Reservoir is a popular location for canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Power boating is allowed, but a 10-mph speed limit is enforced. A boat ramp is located less than a mile from the campground at Prosser Ranch Group Campground. Prosser OHV staging area is approximately two miles west, across Highway 89. Access to Prosser Hill Motorcycle trail, and Prosser Hill and Sagehen Hills OHV trail system.
