From The Campground

Medicine Lake Campground is located in Modoc National Forest and offers 19 single sites for RV camping. The campground has paved parking and some accessible sites for persons in wheelchairs with assistance. Fires are permitted only in fireplaces provided and gathering of dead and down wood is permitted. Amenities include dump stations, lake and pond fishing, day hiking, picnicking, motorized and non-motorized boating, swimming, and water skiing. All California fishing laws apply and all anglers over the age of 16 must have a valid fishing license in their possession. Before 10 am and after 5 pm everyday the speed limit on the lake is 10 mph. Water skiing is permitted only between 10 am and 5 pm. All boaters and passengers shall comply with and obey California boating laws and safety standards. There is no cell phone coverage at Medicine Lake.
