GenieSummary
The campground is paved, level sites, and has running water and flush toilets. It is open after a major fire in July-August of this year, but some sites are closed due to the fire. There are no hookups and the sites are quite small, but they are well spaced and quiet. The surrounding area is desert-like and the night skies are beautiful. The campground is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Lava Beds National Monument, and is a great halfway stop between Lassen and Crater Lake. It is an inexpensive, quiet, and beautiful campground, however, you will need to bring your own water and there is no dump station.
