Aurora Campground is a quaint and cozy RV park located on the picturesque Clear Lake in California. The park is divided into two sections, one on the lake side of Lakeshore Blvd with power and water hookups, and the other across a small street with pull thrus, trees and more space. The sites are tight and the park is in need of some clean up and updating, but the owner and manager are friendly and accommodating, and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The park offers free use of kayaks, canoes, peddle boat and has a game room with excercise equipment and ping pong table. The lakefront sites are south of the road and are narrow back-ins on an asphalt parking lot, but the view of Clear Lake is absolutely beautiful. The park is close to a kids park, boat launching, and restaurants, and the staff makes every effort to maintain the grounds on a daily basis. The park also offers a $10 coupon for free play at the casino, making it a great place to stay for an extended stay.
