This campground is situated on a lake, offering scenic views and a nice fishing dock. However, the park is very old and in bad shape, with muddy grounds and a gravel entry road. The hookups are on the wrong side with sewer connections very high off the ground, and there is only one bathroom each for men and women, each containing one toilet and one pay shower. There are no picnic tables or fire rings, and no cable or air TV channels. The listed rate is increased by a local occupancy/visitor tax, and the club house has no oven or range top - just two large refrigerators. The Wi-Fi is free but slow, and there is some road noise from Hwy-20. The lady in the office greeted all visitors with a big smile, and went out of her way to provide a fire pit for those without one. There is a boat launch and a small boat rental service, as well as a sandy beach area for swimmers. The sites are too narrow for privacy and the showers are coin operated. There is also a fee for small dogs.

Pine Acres Resort is a garden spot situated in a valley completely surrounded by mountains which come down to the beautiful shores of Blue Lakes. The resort is one of Mother Nature’s unspoiled paradises, spring-fed waters flows into the “Emerald Blue Beauty.” The splendor of majestic trees, crystal clear water and green lawns surround the resort in a natural setting of beauty. The serenity of the surroundings alone will create a memorable stay. Pine Acres offers cottages, motel rooms, and RV sites right on the spring-fed waters of Upper Lake. The facilities and amenities offered in and around Pine Acres are just minutes from casinos, wineries and outdoor recreational opportunities of all kinds.
