This campground is located on a military base and is perfect for those affiliated with the military, veterans, or DoD. It offers full hook-ups with 50/30 amp hook-ups and pull-thrus and back-in spaces. There are two shower houses, two laundry buildings, and a Rec room. The campground is well-draining and the sites are paved and spacious. There is a dog park 1.2 miles away and coyotes can be seen in and around the campground. There is a nice mix of soft sand and other areas with lots of rocks and cliffs, but swimming is not recommended due to shark attacks. The campground offers basic amenities and is convenient for day trips in the surrounding area. The sites are a bit outdated and the picnic tables could use a power wash. There is a long wait list due to housing shortages and a lengthy paperwork drill on check-in. There is WiFi, but it is poor to nonexistent most of the time. Pets are allowed, but there is an Ignorant dog policy. The campground is $24 a night for a pull through. There are also a variety of amenities on the base such as a bowling alley, Dominos, Subway, Burger King, and Exchange.
