This campground offers an amazing view of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing at night. The park is very small and the spaces are tight, so it may be difficult to fit larger vehicles. There are stairs down to the beach, but the tide may come in so far that its at the bottom step, so you may not be able to access the beach. The bathrooms are clean and there is a small food joint. There is also a train track close by, but the sound of the waves usually drowns it out. The only issue is that the neighbors may be partying all night. The host is reportedly very rude and unhelpful, so it is recommended to avoid this campground until they get rid of the host. The price is a bit steep at $49.

From The Campground
Hobson Beach Park is a beautiful beachfront campground located between the Pacific Ocean and the base of the Santa Ynez mountains. The park offers exceptional views of the Channel Islands and is footsteps away from the beach. The campground offers tent and RV camping with full hookups, showers, and WiFi. Dogs are allowed on a leash and there is a concession stand on site. Day use visitors can access the beach, but use of picnic tables, BBQ or fire rings requires a camping fee.
