There are a few campsites that offer great views of the ocean. However, most of them are narrow and dont offer a lot of privacy. They are also not level, so make sure to bring leveling blocks. The park roads are somewhat rough and dusty but have been treated for dust control. There are no upscale amenities, but the beach access is easy and convenient. Campers are allowed to have fires on the beach, which can be a great way to spend an evening. The campground is dog-friendly as long as they are kept on a leash. If you head north along the beach past the rocks, dogs are allowed to run off-leash. There can be bears and raccoons at night, but there have not been reports of any issues. Regarding connectivity, the Wi-Fi is spotty, and cell service is poor. However, many campers mention that this is typical of RV parks. Some sites may have better service than others with a booster. The bathrooms and showers are available but not of the highest quality. Bring quarters for the showers.
