The park is filled with 40+ year old trailers, tarps covering the roofs, and makeshift fences with Beware of Dog signs. There are multiple large propane tanks surrounding the RVs, and the park staff and RVers are very friendly and helpful. The sites have full hookups and amenities such as WiFi, TV cable, electric, sewer and water connections, plus a huge new picnic table and a fire pit. The campground is spacious and nestled in the pine trees, and is a great base location to visit Lassen Volcanic NP. The only downside is that trains go by very close to the campground overnight, and can be quite loud. With a little more attention paid to the grounds maintenance, this campground would be a great place to stay for summer campers and four wheelers or boaters.

Lassen West Village is a spacious RV park located in the heart of the historic mountain logging town of Westwood. The RV sites are designed with large lots of over 8000 square feet, providing plenty of space for your RV and anything else you haul along for your enjoyment and comfort. The park is set in a forest-like setting, providing a comfortable home base for your outdoor adventures. In addition to RV sites, the park also offers luxury rental cabins for guests. The park is open year-round and is currently practicing social distancing measures.
