Mendocino Redwoods RV Resort is a great family-friendly campground with lots of activities available during the summer months. While our stay was during the off-season and the park had fewer campers, the staff was very kind and helpful throughout our visit. The laundry facilities were the cleanest we have ever seen at a campground and the general store was very well stocked. In addition, the park had a variety of animals including sheep, goats, pigs, and rabbits, which we really enjoyed visiting. There is a half-mile hiking trail that was a nice activity and Old Town displays that our kids loved. However, the nightly rate was steep and there were no full-hook-up sites available during our stay. Regardless of these minor issues, we appreciated the good upkeep of the park and would definitely consider staying here again!
