GenieSummary
This campground is a great option for those looking for a desert camping experience close to downtown Yuma and Algodones, MX. The campground is big rig friendly and offers full hook ups, a pool and spa, a family bathroom, and laundry facilities. The sites are spacious and grassy, with lots of palm trees for shade. The owners are very accommodating and often invite guests to the clubhouse for a free continental breakfast and delicious homemade soup. There is a big screen TV in the clubhouse and a table for setting up a computer. The only downside is that they do not accept/allow the USPO to deliver to campers, so you must use general delivery or rent PO boxes. The campground is surrounded by commercial lettuce fields, making it very dusty, and the internal roads are gravel. Despite this, the park is relatively quiet at night, with only some occasional distant train whistles. The staff are friendly and the WiFi and T-Mobile cell service are OK.
