This campground is located on the Colorado River, with Squaw Lake connecting to it. It is a great spot for kayaking, fishing, and hiking or gravel biking. The campground consists of two large parking lots with plenty of room, and the roads to and from the campground are all paved. There is no water or dump station at the campground, but one is available at South Mesa about a mile away. Generator hours are from 6 am to 10 pm. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful, and Verizon voice and 4G data is strong. A 50% Senior Pass discount is available, and this pass is also good for free camping at other BLM recreation sites.
