The park is clean and well maintained, but the roads are narrow and winding, so be sure to take your time. The sites are mostly gravel and level. The store is small but has most of the basics. The park is in a beautiful area with lots of places to explore, and is a great base camp for visiting Mesa Verde, Durango, Silverton and other nearby attractions.
