This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway in nature. Surrounded by Aspen trees, the sites offer incredible views of the fall foliage and the sound of the Poudre river. The sites have plenty of parking space, fire pits with grates to cook on, wooden picnic tables and flat gravel tent sites. The restrooms are clean and there is a cool old water pump on the north end of the campground. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, such as hiking, fishing, and backpacking, and you may even spot some wildlife! Firewood, ice, and a few other items are available for purchase at the entrance of the campground. The only downside is the occasional semi truck passing by on Cameron Pass.
