What others are saying
Crow Valley Campground is the only campground in the Pawnee National Grasslands, located less than an hour from the Pawnee Buttes. The campground is fairly open but shady, with large cooking pavilions, bathrooms and water, short hiking trails, a stream, a baseball diamond, and a “museum” showing some historic farm equipment. It is a great place to spread out and enjoy the Grasslands, with plenty of wildlife, sunsets, and thunderstorms. The campground is lushly wooded along a river, with fire rings and picnic tables at each site. Verizon phone and data (4G) are strong, and there is fresh water, though no service hookups. There is a 21 mile, driving bird trail not far from the campground, and reservations can be made via phone or online. The campground is quite noisy due to passing trucks, and it is best to come stocked up as there is only a small grocery in Briggsdale.
