Arrowhead Point Campground is located about 5 miles north of Buena Vista, CO on a hilly location. The park provides full hookups that worked well, but the cable didnt work during some stays. All the sites were close together and all covered in gravel. The park had an all-stone campground unless you are camping in a tent. There is a play area that has volleyball, basketball, and other activities to enjoy. The restrooms and laundry facilities needed some improvement as they were dirty. A little bit of noise from the nearby highway can be heard during the day, but it gets quieter at night. The campground is a nice place to stay, but a bit dusty and expensive for what you get. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The 23 acre property still contains the bunkhouse, stable and tack room from the 1800’s when it was one of the 165 way stations on the Pony Express route. Come see!
