This RV campground has large sites and many amenities such as a swimming pool, mini-golf, playground, dog parks, and horseshoe pits. The views of the Royal Gorge Bridge are tremendous, and the location is central to many attractions. The owners are friendly and work hard to make the park a great place to visit. However, there are some rules that must be followed or visitors will be reprimanded by the owner. There is also a lack of cell phone service in the area. Though some reviews have been positive, others have reported negative experiences with the owner and his employees.

Royal View RV Park @ Royal Gorge is an adult RV park located just eight miles west of Canon City and one mile west of the Royal Gorge Park entrance in Colorado. The 50-acre campground offers stunning views of the Royal Gorge Bridge and San de Christo Mountains, as well as tranquility and peaceful, clean surroundings. The RV park provides guests with spacious and flat gravel sites that include water, electric, sewer, and free WiFi. The park also offers glamping tents and camper cabins, a large swimming pool, a bike path and exercise trail with workout stations, game room, hiking trails, basketball, horseshoe pits, mini golf, frisbee golf, and other recreational facilities. The restrooms and laundry room are modern and spotlessly clean. The RV park offers discount tickets and coupons for Colorado Jeep Tours, white water rafting, zip line tours, horseback rides, and Segway rides. The park is pet-friendly and offers over 2 miles of walking trails and two large fenced-in pet areas for an off-leash play area.
