The Carbondale/Crystal River KOA Holiday is a wonderful place to stay! The hosts have great communication and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The cabins are clean and welcoming, and the campground is very well-maintained. The location is beautiful, with great views. The dog park area is a great amenity. Although its located close to a highway, which can be noisy, its still a great place to stay. The new bath house facilities are very nice. Overall, its a lovely place to camp and enjoy the surrounding areas.

From your cabin, RV or tent site, you will enjoy spectacular views of 12,965-foot Mount Sopris and a half mile of frontage along the truly beautiful Crystal River, where you can stroll along the banks and watch for birds and cast a line for trout. You can access the paved walking/biking Crystal Valley Trail right at the campground entrance and follow it to the Rio Grande Trail that runs from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. Hiking, hunting, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, jeep tours, golf, and fly-fishing are favorite activities.
