GenieSummary

This campground is a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Located at a high altitude of 10,000 feet, it is tucked away and a little hard to find, but worth the effort. Almost all sites have a parking pad and a picnic pad above or below the parking and shade. The vault toilets are clean but smell bad at times. The lake nearby is great for fishing and has a nice boat ramp. Hiking is minimal from the campground, but there are some awesome trailheads a short drive away. The first eight sites have an electricity hookup and water spigots are conveniently located. There is a campground host who does a nice job of keeping the campground clean and tidy. The roads leading up to the campground are steep and winding, with sheer drop offs, so caution should be taken. The mosquitoes can be very annoying and huge, so bring bug spray. AT&T cell service is not available. The campground is a great spot to relax, fish, and explore the nearby trails and fruit farms.
