GenieSummary
Meadow Ridge is a beautiful National Forest Campground located in the Rampart Reservoir Recreation area. It is perfect for those who love the great outdoors, with plenty of activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, and biking. The campground is equipped with vault toilets, but no utilities at your site. There are 3 pull-thru sites that can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet. Reservations are recommended as the park fills up Thursday to Monday. The gravel road leading up to the campground is now in good condition, but can be washboard in places. There is no cell phone reception in the campground. The lake is very inviting and there are some good mountain bike trails around it. The campground is well maintained and offers plenty of shade. The only downside is the terrible washboarded 3.5 miles of gravel road leading up to it.
