Marshall Park Campground is a quiet and secluded spot along the Rio Grande River, perfect for a peaceful getaway. With level campsites, picnic tables, fire pits, and vaulted toilets, its a great place to stay for a night or a few. The campground has no hook-ups, but there is a dump station and potable water in Creede, just 6 miles down the road. You can also purchase firewood from the camp host. The views of the colorful cliffs with sunset are phenomenal, and the sound of the river is the perfect lullaby to fall asleep to. There are few trees for shade, but the campground is at around 8,800 feet, so stays fairly cool even in the summer. Reserve a spot in advance, or take your chances with a first-come site.

Rio Grande Campground is a beautiful camping destination located in Del Norte, Colorado. The campground offers 16 sites, 7 of which are paved pull-through and 9 are dead-end gravel spurs. A few sites can accommodate up to a 40 ft. unit. The campground offers a variety of activities including Bicycling, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Hiking, and Picnicking. The campground is close to Creede, near Hwy 149. The amenities include camping trailer, picnic tables, tent camping, parking, and toilets. The campground can be reserved by calling Toll Free 1-877-444-6777 or online at http://www.recreation.gov.
