Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort is a top-notch campground located in Creede, Colorado. The campground offers large gravel sites, good access roads and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, as well as interesting fountains, water features and lovely flower beds and mountain statues. The sites are very large and some are pull through, with plenty of space for big rigs, tow vehicles, and additional toys. The resort side of the campground is privately owned and rented and features landscaped, concrete pads and patio covers. The campground also offers a club-house, BBQ grills, billiards/pool table, satellite TV, DVD player, Sunday church service, and more. Unfortunately, the prolonged drought in the area makes for more dust (sites and roads are gravel) than usual. The Wi-Fi is unreliable and cell service (AT&T & Verizon) is spotty. There is also an ATV trail to the river, and many places to hike, see ghost towns, old mines, and pretty vistas. The campground staff are friendly and helpful upon check-in, and the town of Creede is very welcoming and has plenty to do, from ATV rides, to fishing, dining and shopping and other activities.
