From The Campground

Rio Grande Campground is a small, developed camping area in a grassy meadow, right on the banks of the Rio Grande River. It offers fishing access to the Rio Grande River, and is a put in – take out point for summer rafting. The area has 7 camp sites with picnic tables and fireplace rings. Elevation is 8,800 feet. A volunteer host is on-site. Camping limit is 14 days. The campground is not recommended for large RVs or long/wide trailers due to the narrow and steep access road. There is no potable water or trash facilities, so visitors must pack out all trash.
