The Lost Burro Campground is located 4 miles N.W. of Cripple Creek Colorado and at an elevation of approx. 9,500ft. It is noted for being the most famous Gold Mining town in Colorado. The campground provides a wonderful and authentic camping experience nestled among Colorado’s finest ponderosa pines and aspen trees, resting peacefully in a grassy meadow with a cold creek running right through the middle of the campground.
