From The Campground

Lake Fork Campground is located in Rio Grande National Forest and has 18 sites among Aspen and mixed conifers, adjacent to the Conejos River. The campground offers Gold Medal trout fishing (fly-fishing only) in the Conejos River and hiking on numerous area trails. The campground sits among Aspen and mixed conifer trees, with some sites overlooking the river. It is convenient to several trails, the resort community of Platoro and Platoro Reservoir.
