From The Campground

Poso Campground is located in Rio Grande National Forest and offers 11 single campsites for tent and RV camping. The campground is open from mid-May through mid-November and operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. The campground is situated on a hillside above South Fork Creek and is surrounded by Spruce and Aspen trees. Visitors can enjoy fishing in Cave Creek, Poso Creek, and South Fork Carnero Creek, as well as mountain biking on forest roads. Big game hunting is also possible in the area. The campground offers picnic tables and vault toilets, but no water or trash services.
