GenieSummary

What others are saying
When we went looking for the trash dumpster, we found it to be overflowing onto the ground. This campground is an old, deserted ex-RV park located in the town of Dinosaur. The park was once packed full when the coal mine was in operation, but now it is mostly deserted. The sites are gravel and weedy, with heated frost free water hookups and electric. There are no amenities, but the staff is friendly and they enforce the rules without getting into your business. Campfires are allowed on Saturday nights and ATV and dirt bikes are ridden around the outside of the park. Cell, dome satellite, and Aircard service is available, and the park only accepts checks or cash as payment. The trash dumpster is overflowing onto the ground. VZ service is just on the edge of their area of coverage. This is a quiet place to park while exploring the remote area, but it is not very pleasant.
