This campground is a great choice for families or groups looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains. Located at 9200 feet, the campground offers a cool temperature and beautiful night sky views. The campground is run by a Christian summer camp and is a great place for kids to enjoy activities like sand volleyball, basketball, tether ball, horse shoes, archery, fun yacks, frisbee golf, miniature golf course, and fishing pond. There is a large lodge and many bunk houses for campers to stay in. The sites are unlevel and maneuvering within the park can be difficult, but the park can handle rigs up to 40 long. There is no 50 amp service or big rig access to the dump station. The campground has a strict no alcohol policy, and distant VBS music can be heard a couple times a day. There are also plenty of trails and wildlife to explore, and the lodge offers activities for kids for $5/day.
