Dolores Campground is a family-friendly and well-maintained campground located just outside of the small town of Dolores. The campground features a wide variety of camping options, including RV and tent sites, yurts, Conastoga wagons, and cabins. There are two fishing ponds, playgrounds and bikes for kids, a large meeting room with games and seating areas, and the nearby river for rafting, kayaking, or just sitting and listening to the music of rushing water. The campground also has a great gift shop with very reasonable prices, a propane fill up station, laundry facilities, and very clean showers and bathrooms. The owners are wonderful people who are very helpful and host weekly ice cream nights, pizza nights, and potlucks. There is also a walking trail along the Dolores River with benches placed along the route for those who just want to sit and enjoy the view. Wi-Fi is available, but reception is best in the early morning and late evening. Dolores Campground is the perfect get-away for a family reunion for RVers/tenters and non-campers alike.
