Priest Gulch is a private campground and RV park located in the San Juan mountains on Highway 145 between Cortez and Telluride. It is a very forested RV park, with lots of beautiful trees and plenty of shade and wind breaks. The RV sites offer 50 amp hookups, water, sewer, fire ring, and picnic table. The campground staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and will take campers to their sites and help them to position their rigs to avoid trees, make sure awnings are clear and hookups are accessible. The park is very well run and has a beautiful river running through it, with generous sites, free firewood, and a camp store with food items and ice cream. There is also a walking trail along the river and a gazebo with adult swing chairs that overlook the creek. WiFi is available but can be unreliable, and there is no cell phone reception. The park is popular and requires booking way ahead of time, and can get crowded over the summer months. It is the perfect place for an off-grid camping experience and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Priest Gulch Campground is located in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of South West Colorado, midway between Telluride and Mesa Verde. The campground is situated along the Dolores River and offers 10 housekeeping cabins (most along the river) and RV sites. The facility is clean, neat, and in safe working condition. Amenities include gas grills, propane firepits, and charcoal grills. The campground offers various activities such as hiking, fishing, and river rafting. Priest Gulch Campground is currently taking reservations for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
